The Lost Land Surveyor
I’ve been in and out of the land surveying industry for over 10 years now and during that time I’ve seen an abundance of work as well as no work at all, sitting on EI waiting for a call back or looking elsewhere for more work. I’ve spent many years living life on the road away from my wife, family and friends so I could provide for my loved ones. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do and I’m extremely grateful for the life surveying has provided me and my family but, the lifestyle is a grind!
In spring of 2018 I was once again laid off due to a shortage of work and told myself that this was the last time I would be in this situation. The last time I would be looking for work with nothing to fall back on. The last time I would rely on someone other than myself to provide an income for my family!
I found an opportunity online to build something for ME!
Something that could never be taken from me. Something that would help me leverage the power of social media and the internet and enable me to work from home or where ever I had an internet connection.
