Cutest Hidden Date Spot in Calgary

Afternoon Tea at Deane House, Calgary $65 pp and DELIGHTFUL!

Lucky me! I had the pleasure of sitting down to a very special lunch prepared in an aspirational kitchen (that I will absolutely someday own!) by two of Toronto's most celebrated chefs, David Shwartz and Braden Chong of coveted sister restaurants Mimi Chinese and Sunnys Chinese. The culinary duo of dreams rustled up some cracking dishes in a @gaggenauofficial equipped kitchen, replete with all of the latest premium appliances (big deep envious swoon!). I was one of a glorious gaggle of hungry humans lucky enough to snag an invite (because in my past life I was the Patron Saint of fine dining!). Between mouthfuls and a multitude of "mmm" noises, the conversation and sake were both certainly flowing! Ah, take me back to that afternoon, it was one for the books!
