Also happy to say I bought a fisheye 8-15mm yesterday (finally) since I had way too much fun playing on Rob’s this day last month 🤗 Exciting times ahead!

Well I stopped posting on my feed for a bit due to some DMs I was getting about this shoot. There were too many for me not to acknowledge and I had to do my own digging since nearly all comments didn’t give any insight but were just simply people being opinionated.

There is a documentary on Netflix atm called ‘Dancing With The Devil’ and although from a specific sides perspective the documentary shows the sad truth of what the industry can be like. It shows the truth of many industries, where natural talent gets recognised and then others take advantage for their own gains.

I’m not here to get tied up in all this, it isn’t my journey but I do feel in a classic Libra way that it’s fair for me to raise awareness of an additional perspective and to also clarify I have no ties to 7M Management.

I reached out to them when I first got to LA a few years ago and asked to shoot with their talent. Of which they stated everything has to be unpaid but more concerning I have to hand over my intellectual rights to all images I have taken. This was a big no for me so I ended up going direct to a lot of their talent. My instincts served me right I guess.

I have nothing really else to say on this except that life is a wild journey. We all have our soul journeys and lessons to learn. We all have a path of highs and lows and a huge reason as to why we are here is to move through this wave of ours and do our best to listen to our instinct through this and share what we have learned.

For those involved with this saga all I can say is that things like this don’t define you, it only gives you a chapter to learn and ability to apply yourself for the future in a way that allows the world to see how you grew through the previous experience.

We don’t know if these extremely talented dances are giving their excess to the church on their own accord, or through naivety. I feel if the industry was to gatekeep less and advise what is more normal then situations like this would be less common as individuals would be able to make more informed decisions of their own. That’s my two cents.

Skateboarding lesson’s of resilience and patience are second to none. The constant evolution from throwing yourself into concrete to land something that you have been working on for months or in many kickflip journeys, years.

With the practice comes progression and less and less bumps and grazes, a thankful reward. Yet the reality of life not all days are good.

The resilience of those who choose to ride is a true testament to a driven spirit. Seeing people overcome extreme difficulties like broken bones and confidence set backs, to only come back healed and stronger than ever before, I have to say this is so truly inspiring to me.. for body, mind and soul.

Seeing what the body is capable of when you put it to the test is always so fascinating and fun to me. The truth is the highs and lows will always come.

The journey continues whilst I learn things step by step and aim to be able to feel it all together in one steezy flow, just like those who I’ve been inspired by just watching them go. Admiration 🙌

Happy to report I’m in full working order, these are just some old photos to pay homage to the journey so far ☺️

Wee studio shoot with . Emily is a friend of mine in Venice Beach. She called me up recently saying she was asked to cast for a shoot with Speedo but she didn’t have anything to submit before the deadline. So we did a quick shoot within the hour with her bronco and surfboard. With wanting to build her book and move into modelling I got her in the home studio to work on her portfolio. We had fun :) How do you think she did?

Well I definitely had fun over the weekend. held their first Skate Fest and I had so much fun playing with a fish eye finally!!

As always I find it so inspiring watching the young and old plus everyone between enjoying the journey of skateboarding together. In the skate journey myself so it makes me happy seeing those on it too embracing it for the joy it truly brings :)

is such a positive influence in the community for all that he does is with pure intentions of sharing inspiration, hope and determination.

Although hot work running around a skatepark in 30degrees/90Fahrenheit heat all day, the setting and vibe amongst the trees were so perfect.

And man did I have fun playing with Rob’s fisheye camera!! I need one asap ha! His lens was a different mount to mine so I set the exposure on his camera and went to play.

So so many great images from this day I’ll share more of down the track but if you know the skaters or peeps please DM me their grams ✌️Keep an eye out on the page too. Am sure they will post more images I’ve taken which I may not share for a while.
