Today Jerome Hadey presents his new single ‘I Didn’t Know My Name’. Created by the Villa Lena Recordings boss at his studio in Tuscany, the track arrives as part of an EP of the same name. Accompanying the main single is a series of remixes from collaborators and peers handpicked by Hadey. The ‘Club Edit’ was crafted in Portugal by one of the country’s buzziest producers while Irfane’s (Breakbot) remix comes straight out of Paris, amping up the electro feel of the track. Finally, Cassius’ Boombass takes us to Ibiza with his remix, evoking Balearic sunrises and endless twilights on the dancefloor.
Speaking about ‘I Didn’t Know My Name’, Jerome Hadey said “This track comes from all the nights I’ve been dreaming about the dancefloor during the lockdown.” With Europe’s clubs once again opening their doors, Hadey decided to return to his roots, crafting a floor filler equally inspired by his time in Berlin as his time in Ibiza. In short, it’s a tribute to over 20 years of clubbing experience across Europe and beyond.
The EP was mastered by Bo Kondren (Âme, Dixon) at Berlin’s Calyx Studio.
