Candy Smokes single, "Somethin Outta Nuthin" is their latest sub-two minute masterpiece. Not ones to waste time on lyrics, this delivers verse/chorus/verse/bridge/verse/outro with roaring guitars and those patented Ratastic Harmonies. Some say it sounds like The Buzzcocks, some say The Pagans, some say that's poppycock. Candy Smokes say just enjoy it!

Hi-Vo's faves The BellTowers lost their friend and bandmate Eddie Foeller to cancer at the end of last year. "Somewhere You Feel Free" is a tribute to Eddie's genius, humor and outsized life. Eddie was a huge fan and proselytizer of garage rock, jangle pop, psych and country/folk rock—and this show will feature past and present bands of his as well as bands who were in some way influenced by his impeccable taste and presence. Fact: Hidden Volume wouldn't be Hidden Volume without him.

Even if you didn't know Mr. Foeller this promises to be an insanely cool show. The bands are fantastic live and there promises to be a bevy of special guests (ahem...). If you'e in the Central Florida area, don't miss it!

The Smokes' Jes Terriblé (guitars) takes over lead vocals with drums and organ squeals from Les plus bass thumps from Moe. This trash pop hit is a sugary mix of The Delmonas, Zombies, and maybe a little...Partridge Family. Something for everyone!

We're incredibly sad to report the passing of Dave Busacker (pictured, center) of Satan's Pilgrims. Dave was an amazingly talented musician on both guitar and organ as well as a genuinely sweet person. Hi-Vo is undeniably lucky and grateful for his presence on the two singles we released. Such genius!

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. RIP, Dave.
