Join me this SUNDAY AT 4PM for the premier of my next adventure video. We head up Boulder Basin, which is a tough Idaho trail to an incredible mountain lake basin. Last year we tried this trail, but were turned around because some of the rigs in our convoy were not ready for the demands of the trail. This was an awesome trip with good friends. Guys conquered their fears, learned new things on technical driving and spotting, and even recovered a Landcruiser who decided to try this trail without a front driveshaft. Video coming soon.

I did an unboxing vid (I don’t really do these) for my new Geo 2.5. It’s a tent like no other on the market right now. 36% more room than a standard clamshell tent. Really clever designs throughout. I’m not typically so giddy about tents, but this one is doing something different, it’s not made the same factory as every other tent, and the company is pushing innovation in a space that really needs it. Video is on the channel now.

We finished the Nevada BDR in Oatman, AZ…a very quirky and lively town on the old Route 66. 900+ miles in 6 days. Nevada was so surprising to us. It’s very underrated as an Overlanding destination..but there were some tough sections. Videos coming soon!!

Goodnight from just above Parumph Nevada. Today we had some of the toughest parts of the NV BDR. Extreme washouts, rocky climbs, and lots of wild donkeys. The first 7 hours yielded us 50 miles, the last 3 got us 80 more. Crazy day. Tomorrow we push for the end oh the trail, Oatman, AZ.

Good evening from the edge of Death Valley in Nevada. We drove up washouts, over juniper forest mountains, and through Joshua Tree forests. We are camped near a massive lake bed thinking about what we might see tomorrow.

Goodnight from the middle of Nevada. We are three days in to the NV BDR and its been crazy. 15 hour days, serious recovery situations, and some of the most jaw dropping basins I’ve ever seen. My little family is working as a team, finding time to laugh, and just taking in the wonder of it all. The rigs are phenomenal. The new gladiator was made for desert running like this, and the 392 is built for…anything really. So we are tired, dirty, and all smiles in the desert tonight.

So far this is the only real mod I’ve made to my Jeep 392 (lots more coming). The under cloak system. The most valuable thing about this system is it allows you to do more with a stock rig. I’ve taken my $$$ Jeep on some pretty tough trails, and put some pretty nice dings in the undercloak. It has given me the confidence to push my rig farther…and as a result…have more fun! We've decided to sell Finn, our beloved Jeep. We have some new rigs (more on that later) that will serve the family better in the longer run, so it's with a heavy heart that we need to make room in our garage. This Jeep is in excellent condition, and has many many adventures left..and while we're sad it won't be with us, we're equally happy about someone else getting the chance to escape the grind with Finn. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/281768127904139

This is a pic of us trying to dodge a Central Oregon storm as we made our way through the seemingly endless sagebrush desert. This was the last push from a massive weather system that was pushing us way off course as we made our way from east to west. This was also the scariest storm as we were totally exposed with no shelter as it circled above is. Join me on Monday evening as I premiere this 3rd and final episode of our Oregon Overland Adventure.

We hit snow at 7,600 ft crossing the Elkhorns in north eastern Oregon. Snow on one side, ledge on the other. With a little team work and hood spotter we made it through no problem. Video on YT now!
