Shooting at night, with a drone in the harbour of Antwerp, was something new.
**BEWARE**
Don’t go shooting with a drone on this location without permission necessary from all authority’s necessary!!

It was a first time I was at a Comic Con event, in this case, Dutch Comic Con, in Utrecht (NL). Pretty special to see all these people living their favorite fantasy character. I had a lot of fun and also had to shoot on the JBL stand, where I made friends with the Predator… He’s not so bad as the movies suggested! 😁Or he was very afraid of what I had in my hands…

Because with video, people can actually see what it’s like in your work environment, the atmosphere, the collegues,…
If you let an experienced employee do the presentation, it provides more credibility for your company, because the explanation comes from somebody who actually has experience in this job and why he likes his/her job.
It convinces potential applicants waaay faster than if they read your vacancy in text on your website or a static advertisement with a photo.
Working with video grabs their attention faster and they will remember it better compared to all the other text based vacancies from other companies they go through when searching for a job.

'Behind the scenes en enkele beelden uit de promovideo voor OLVP Bornem Secundair onderwijs.
Doel: Een reeks video's produceren om OLVP in de kijker te zetten en zowel leerlingen als leraars aan te spreken om voor OLVP Bornem te kiezen.
In de voorbereiding werd besloten dat we volgende zaken gingen produceren:
🎥 Een promotievideo voor op de homepage, waarin de sterke kanten van de school naar boven zouden komen.
Dit soort video op de homepage wakkert de interesse van een websitebezoeker veel sneller aan dan enkel foto's en wat tekst. (Niemand leest nog veel tekst op een website), want men krijgt een duidelijker beeld waar de school voor staat.
🎥 Een reeks interviews van directie, leerkrachten en leerlingen.
Dit soort video's zorgt voor autoriteit, want wat is beter om een nieuwsgierige student die naar het eerste middelbaar gaat, dan van een leerling zélf horen wat er fijn is aan deze school, of een geïnteresseerde werkzoekende leraar van een directielid of leerkracht horen zeggen waar zij zich op richten om met deze school een kwalitatieve opleiding te garanderen...?

Going the extra mile for the content I create for my clients.
What’s the difference between ‘just a video’ and a video that converts to more sales, bookings or strengthen your branding…?
Almost everybody can film video and stitch the clips together…
But a video that gets you new clients, more sales, convinces people to choose for your your brand, hotel, company,…These kind of video’s need more: A content strategy, a compelling story, mood, thumbnail, length, audio, music, sound FX, voice over, format,… All of these, and more need thought about.
As you see, creating video’s and getting results with them contains so much more than picking up a camera and starting to film.

What do I like the most… Filming or editing…? Can’t decide on that. I love the preparations and shooting days, creating the frames and story I have in mind…
In the editing I love the creative flow of putting the story together, searching for the right music track, the sound fx… And after many hours seeing the complete video for the first time and knowing I’m helping another client to stand out with their story or business.

In this way, your sales team wins time ánd your customer can watch the video again, if he or she forgot something. Because, be honest, a long explanation about for example, all the features of a state of the art motor bike and the on-board computer… Nobody remembers everything after hearing it once and then having to figure it out by their own afterwards…
That’s when they can watch the tutorial video again when they want, where they want, at their own pace!

Creating a new explainer video for .
An explainer video... What is that...? It's a video with a longer format most of the time, where you explain your service, product or way of working in more detail. These type of video's are proven to keep the attention of the customer for a longer time! It's also much clearer (when made well), than written text and it creates more engagement with customers.
