7 years ago, in February 2017, we published the first issue of Latitudes, l'art de vivre in Thailand. On the cover was a beautiful artwork by French artist Virginie Broquet.

A globetrotter, Virginie Broquet draws inspiration from her travels around the world for her large-scale mixed-media canvases and widely acclaimed decorative works.

This portrait of Suzy Wong, from her awarded comic strip, has accompanied our whole journey from a newborn magazine to a mature Media and Events company and we are proud and happy to announce that Virginie will be part of the festival with live painting sessions!

We have the great pleasure to inform you that Latitudes, our magazine of l’Art de Vivre in Thailand is back with issue 18!

Its format and business model have changed. First of all, we are true to our DNA and keeping our French touch, évidemment.
The magazine is still bilingual French and English, but now through 2 different editions which you can choose from.

Latitudes is still free to read online on Issuu, with both the complete magazine designed for comfy reading on computer, as well as some individual articles in a different, mobile-friendly format.

It is interactive and multimedia, with functional links and embedded content such as videos.

Of course, it will also be available in Print!
But instead of being freely and widely distributed, financed (or not so much) by advertising, it is now a paid magazine with almost no advert and printed on demand.
No stock, no waste and INDEPENDANCE!
Readers will order it online and receive it swiftly at home through post. It will be available soon...
Some printed issues will still be distributed to influencers and VIPs and a few copies will be available for sale at a very limited exclusive partner places...

Wonderfruit is back, so is Latitudes!
A few days before the festival, we had the pleasure to meet with its head Pete and talk about hedonistic sustainability and music...

“For us, music is more about exploring, working with the community and maybe challenge them a little bit to do something to relate with something else. Our focus has been more on the process of getting people to work together to create some sort of dialog. This year, we play a lot more on this relationship we have with our own mind and intersecting that with the way humans interact with nature through all aspects, like design, food and, of course, music.” Pranitan "Pete" Phornprapha, founder of Wonderfruit.

12 x 12 is one of these rare places where music lovers feel at home. Gathering a unique community of artists, musicians, DJs and party animals, it stands both for musical quality and friendly, positive vibes, like no other. Harassed by the guys in brown permanently called by a mean neighbour, it needs our help to stay the den we love and operate in peace with a proper soundproofing.

Studio So What and Latitudes Media & Events stand by 12x12 side during the COMMUNITY MONTH. Every week in June will have a special event that brings everyone together on a day filled with love and laughter. All the income from the events will go into buying materials. On this occasion, one of the very last remaining SOWAT Latitudes Elephant will be auctioned for the first event on June 5, don't miss it!
