Someone asked in an earlier post if submarine tenders are still in use with the United States Navy. In fact, two submarine tenders are still in active service. They are known as the Emory S. Land class.

The photo shows the leadship, the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS-39) in Guam with the Los Angeles class submarines USS Chicago (SSN-721) and USS Pasadena (SSN-752) tied up alongside. She typically operates out of Guam along with her sister ship USS Frank Cable (AS-40).

Together, the sisters act as a forward operating base.
They can support United States submarines by providing repairs, supplies, medical services, and more. This allows submarines to operate out of Guam for extended periods, reducing the need to return to the United States.

They’re two separate things.

One is actually a defense against the other, which is a voluntary form of mental retardation.

One of them, objectively, shouldn’t even be a concern for most living humans and merely a wake up call of the “positive peer pressure” variety for the remaining 25 million or so.

He is civically engaged and active in the community and has a long history of volunteer efforts with Oklahoma City's homeless population.*** During Oklahoma State Representative Jason Lowe's candidacy contest hearing on Monday, April 20, 2020, when Ben M Janloo challenged Jason Lowe's eligibility to be a candidate for Oklahoma House District 97, Representative Lowe called, as a witness, Mr. Jacques McGowan, but was unable to pronounce his own witness' name correctly despite having known him for a number of years. Notice the lack of social distancing, especially given that Rep. Lowe had recently recovered from COVID-19. Nothing like having your employees as your witnesses. So...he took Rep. Lowe's trash out for him? Why? How often? Why could Rep. Lowe not routinely take his own trash out? Bear in mind, this is an actual legal proceeding, akin to appearing in court, and one of the people on screen is an actual attorney.
