Bio

Being from New Orleans, Jazz is a huge influence on everything Josh plays. His sets range from Downtempo and Slow disco, to Funky, Jackin' and Tech House music Josh started Djing house parties and school dances in the mid 90s. He was quickly exposed to the underground electronic music scene through local record stores like Spice records as well as the infamous Freebass society parties at the State Palace Theater and decided to start playing electronic music in the late 90's. He quickly found himself drawn to the jazz influenced sounds of house music and downtempo. Josh was an member of the "Children of tha bass" production company that did some of the largest events at the time around New Orleans and Texas in the late 90's and early 2000's. He has played events all across the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida, and been a part of and held residencies at some of the longest running house nights in New Orleans.

Josh is honored to have opened for the likes of Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Stacy Kidd, Charles Feelgood, Doc Martin, Gant Garrard, Trevor Lamont, and has played events with Sylk 130, Kaskade, Carlos and Jeno (Wicked Crew), Richard "Humpty" Vission, Terrence Parker, Roy Davis Jr, John Larner, Slater Hogan, Dj Skip, Juan Atkins, 4peace, Translucent, Demarkus Lewis, Donald Glaude, Frankie Bones, Sun City Hustlers, Gant Garrard, Z-Trip, LTJ Bukem, J. Boogie, Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys).

For the last few years, Josh has held down a residency on Sugar Shack Radio for his show "NOLA Housing Project" , spreading his message of jazz-influenced house music all over the globe.
