Congrats to Jodi Ewart Shadoff who, after 12 years on the LPGA Tour, clinched her first victory this past weekend at the LPGA Mediheal Championship.

She did so using Tinley Park-based Bettinardi Golf's Queen B Model 6.

"We are so excited to be part of Jodi's first LPGA win," said the President of Bettinardi Golf, Sam Bettinardi. "It means the world to us that we could play such an important role in this victory and we couldn't be prouder to have Jodi as a member of the Bettinardi family. She's been an amazing addition to our team, and I can't wait to present her with her very first gold Bettinardi putter to commemorate her victory."

With this victory, the 34-year-old Englishwoman is now ranked 22nd on the CME Ranking. This latest victory brings Bettinardi’s total to 99 worldwide tour wins since 1998.

We all know Seattle is the largest city in Washington State but what if I asked what the second largest city was? Would you know? Here’s a hint: it’s located on the opposite side of the state and is roughly 35 miles from the Idaho border and 60 from the Canadian border.

Spokane is one of the most up-and-coming cities in the U.S. and is home to some amazing golf. We had the chance to experience some incredible courses July 2-5 including the famed Coeur d’Alene Resort GC featuring the world’s only par-3 with a floating green, Circling Raven GC in nearby Worley, ID (just named Best Public Course in Idaho by Golfweek Magazine), and Indian Canyon GC (operated by the City of Spokane featuring sweeping views of downtown Spokane and the surrounding areas).

Sidenote: Coeur d’Alene Golf Resort provides (at no cost) a forecaddie or “player concierge” for each foursome. Ours happened to be 21-year-old Alaska native Sullivan Menard, a member of the 2019-2020 DePaul University Men’s Basketball Team who currently plays on both the mens’ golf and basketball teams at Spokane’s Whitworth University.

Our experience with “Sully” was a so great that we invited him to play Circling Raven two days later and were pleased to have him join us for another memorable day (that's his buttery smooth swing in one of the photos here).
