Naples Noteworthy is about shining a light on interesting people in the Naples community, people who may be entrepreneurs, artists, authors, musicians, pastors, teachers, builders, philosophers, or truth-seekers, people who live next to you right here in Naples, people who are doing good things in our community or in the greater world. Many of these are people you may not have heard of. But we fee

l you should. That’s what Naples Noteworthy is all about. People we think you should know about. People who are a little different. People who aren’t afraid to stand out. And about celebrating the best in people. We'll also give you our opinion about the best organizations in the Naples community. In our premiere launch online issue we listed the five churches we believe are the five top non-denominational churches in the area, churches that are leaders in our community. We are not affiliated with any businesses or organizations nor are we out to make money. We're simply looking for some good news to report. We think it's about time someone did.

“We’re excited about our upcoming Relaunch Line-up,” says Founder & CEO of Naples Noteworthy, Lila Sharma, of the 2024/25 Fall/Winter Season. “Our focus is on the arts, from the exquisite metalworking of Cheri Dunnigan to the magical realism of Kathleen Kinkopf to the Saks Fifth Avenue art of Lia Martino. We’re celebrating those who are leading figures in the arts in Southwest Florida, starting out in October with Cheri Dunnigan and a feature on Molly Deckart from the Alliance for the Arts of Fort Myers, and culminating in our February feature on the Spring into the Arts Gala Luncheon and Fashion Show honoring six distinguished women who have made an impact in the arts and beyond-- Emily James, Patty Baker, Harriet Heithaus, Lois Thome, Dr. Jeanie Darnell, and Sue Huff. (The Gala, hosted by the Creative Women’s Connection of the International Network of Creatives (INC), will be held March 5, 2025, 11:00 AM at the Naples Grande Beach Resort.) We’ll also be featuring musician, recording artist and rising star Sheena Brooks. And for a special treat, in the fitness arena, we’ll be doing an update on the beloved Bates ‘Tumbling’ Twins, Madison & Cameron, now all grown up.
