We want to thank all of you with our whole hearts - for making our inaugural year for SunscreenNorth a success. Please share your experience so we can continue to grow.

It’s here Pink Day 💕and our first day in the theater Minnesota Discovery Center Purpose block of shorts begin at 11 am -

ANOTHER Panelist!!
Blair Skinner is a Cancer sun, writer, director, and producer. She comes from the production side of filmmaking having served most recently as the Line Producer on the independent film Horsegirls. She was also as co-producer on Amazon’s Transparent, line producer on Netflix’s Spivak, Six Foot Pictures The Lost Husband and Boy Genius, and Sundance Premiering The Skinny. She production supervised the Sony/Screen Gems films Proud Mary and Slender Man, HBO Max’s series Generation and Duster. Clearly she knows what it takes to make a project from start to finish whilst maintaining great quality, staying on schedule and on budget (sometimes even under budget). Through these projects she has fostered crew relationships and mentors like Paul Marks (Narcos, Chuck, Party of Five) and Victor Hsu (Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia). She has been fortunate to work with award winning directors Joey Soloway, Andrea Arnold, Larry Charles, Marielle Heller, Anu Valia and Daniel Barnz.

She has written/co-written and directed several projects such as TV Pilot Pleasant Pastures, Short Film Eleanora: The Forgotten Princess, music videos and spec commercials. She is currently in pre-production on her feature film debut Get it Together.

She also launched her online course, Film Parliament, that teaches independent filmmakers how schedule/budget their feature films. She saw this as something that was lacking in the industry and hopes that as more people learn how to schedule and budget their projects -- more films will get made by all kinds of different people, so we can start seeing movies from all sorts of perspectives so audiences minds can expand further.

Andrea Ajemian - Bio

Andrea Ajemian has been producing movies and television for more than twenty years, and has worked with top studios including Sony Pictures, Amazon Studios, Netflix, and Paramount, as well as networks including The History Channel, Nat Geo Wild, The Lifetime Network, and the Oxygen Network. She was Executive Producer and Unit Production Manager on the Wayfarer Studios/Sony Pictures hit movie “It Ends With Us,” starring Blake Lively and based on the bestselling book by Colleen Hoover, which was released in theaters in August of 2024 and has grossed over three hundred and forty five million dollars world-wide to date. Andrea was Executive Producer and Unit Production Manager on two films which trended at number one on Netflix, including: “The Curse of Bridge Hollow,” starring Marlon Wayans, as well as “I Care A Lot,” for which Rosamund Pike won the 2021 Golden Globe for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy or Musical. Other Executive Producer/UPM credits include the number one box office debut “Honest Thief” starring Liam Neeson and “The Unholy,” starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Cary Elwes. She Co-Produced the Sony Pictures/Screen Gems feature films: “Possession of Hannah Grace,” starring Shay Mitchell, “Proud Mary” starring Taraji P Henson and Danny Glover, and “Slender Man” starring Joey King.

Ajemian has also produced a number of award-winning independent films including “Freedom Park,” “Breakdance Academy,” and “Still Green,” which won Best Ensemble at the 2007 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. In addition, she has produced a number of successful TV movies including “The Assault,” “Don’t Look Back," and “The Spirit of Christmas,” which was named number one of the top 101 Lifetime Christmas movies by Elle Magazine. Andrea co-wrote the screenplay for “One of Us,” which won Best Feature at the 2016 Sacramento Horror Film Festival and stars Chris B. Allen. She is a member of the Directors Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild, and the Producers Guild of America.
