Reminder that Auditions for The Family Jewels | Directed by Patrick Poe & Lolo Loren are THIS SATURDAY and we want to see you there!

One of the questions we’ve been asked the most by actors interested in auditioning is what the filming schedule will look like - the answer is that we will schedule around your availability as best we can, because having the right cast for the project is very important to us. We would like to start filming in September, but even that is lenient and not all characters are in every scene. So, if you are worried about scheduling but interested in a role, we would still love to see you come out!

We’ve finished the first two days of production on the feature film “Taffy: The Divine Instrument Against the Demonic Forces of Evil” from writer/director Colter Lemmon, which we are thrilled to be helping produce, with cinematography by Patrick Poe and Lolo Loren.

Auditions are open call - show up anytime between 8am and 2pm on August 10th - with actors being seen on a first-come first-serve basis. Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. Please bring a hard copy of resume and headshot.

We are thrilled to have two of our own films, both “Lost and Alone” and “Silent but Deadly”, nominated in multiple categories at tomorrow night’s Best of Bird Watching 2023 - Awards and Screening! A music video we were the cinematographer for last year is also nominated - “You Won’t Play Me”! You can watch all three of those now on YouTube, and then come out tomorrow night to support local film and see who wins!

NOW STREAMING - William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Patrick Poe & Lolo Loren

This unabridged adaption of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream was filmed on a micro budget in and around Kansas City over the summer of 2016, featuring all local cast and crew. We are thrilled to finally be releasing it to the world!

We had shoot days where the daytime temperatures broke 100, we had overnight shoots where we got rained out in the cold, we got poison ivy and sunburns - and we also had a lot of fun. It was an all-around exhausting summer - but we would do it again in a heartbeat.

We hope you enjoy our take on this riotous comedy, William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream!
