The Video Game Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the video game industry. We are a community of fans, researchers, and industry professionals who are passionate about the history and evolution of video games. Our mission is to document and share the stories, people, and events that have shaped the video game industry, from the early days of arcade games and

home consoles to the latest developments in mobile, PC, and console gaming. We believe that understanding the past helps us to appreciate the present and anticipate the future of the video game industry. To achieve our mission, we engage in a variety of activities, including:

Collecting and archiving historical materials such as game manuals, magazines, and marketing materials
Interviewing industry veterans and recording their memories and insights
Writing articles and producing videos about the history of video games
Hosting events and meetups for members to share their love of video game history
Collaborating with other organizations and institutions to promote the study of video game history
Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the industry or a newcomer to the world of video games, we welcome you to join us in our mission to preserve and share the rich history of this amazing medium.

Paramount Pictures released a new trailer today for the Sonice The Hedgehog movie after adapting to fan outrage over the design of the 3d character. What started out as a trending meme on social media, turned the heads of Studio Execs to hault the project and give the fans what they asked for.
