Movie is based on a simple concept of “Right and Wrong”. Sometimes as an individual you need to decide, at which side you’re – LAW or JUSTICE. Fast paced, high octane action drama which is rough, thriller & campy. Do not miss it, if you’re Statham’s fan. Action is more than expendables, Drama is less equivalent to Transporter.

There are very few movies made to showcase the reality of society with the pinch of salt, and “Laapataa Ladies” is one of those films.
Credit goes to the fantastic writing, classy direction, and effortless actors who were fine artists. It’s a humoristic emotional roller coaster ride.
Editing could have helped with the movie’s length. Highly recommended movie, it should be the talk of the town because of its in-depth writing and the social message, which is important for parents, women and men.
A must-watch flick.

An awaited series by Sanjay Leela Bansali has arrived on 1st May. An unusual release date, beautifully written story, impeccable acting from all the ladies; a story revolves around the market of Lahore, called as “Heeramandi”- where Nawabs comes by their choice, but due to the desires forgot their house “doorstep”. A perfect storyline based on the ground of chess ,where the battle is not b/w 2 kings but 2 queens.
Manisha Koirala, nailed the act of the character “ Mallikhajaan”.
Sonakshi Sinha- a very strong written character.
Taha Shah Badussha as TAJ and Sharmin Segal as “ Alam”- a mesmerizing chemistry – a true Devine
Richa Chadda as “ Lajjo”, less screen presence but killer act
Aditi Rao Hyderi- as Bibbojaan- “ jitni Tareef karein utni kam”
Indresh Malik as “Ustaad ji”, what an act- all his scenes are treat to eyes, specially the last when he gave revolver to Alam.
Fatima “ Phatto” played by Jyati Bhatia, a well remembered character.
Music is okeyish, will be like by few people specially the one who loves classical but no comparison OR no where near to the old age music from the movies like “Mughle-aazam, Paakeza, Baiju-Bawra, etc”
All the Nawabs- acted well in their short presence in the story.
Overall it’s a one time watch series, check out for his dialogues and the good acts by the artists.

As an audience, we always look forward to Imtiaz Ali’s movies. This time, Imtiaz comes up with an OTT release, telling the story of the renowned singer of Punjab during the 70s and 80s, Amar Singh “Chamkila.” Keeping the direction as simple as it can be is the USP of Imtiaz’s movies, and this time, there’s a tadka of authenticity too, whether you call it translating Punjabi songs (in Khadi Punjabi) in english subtitles or including original flashback pictures along with current going scenes. The choice of actors is the cherry on the top. Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, Anjum Batra, Rahul Mitra, and Apinderdeep Singh all performed very well in their respective roles. Brace yourself to see the essence of Chamkila’s music and the cultural significance which held for Punjabi audiences.
The movie raises a question: who’ll decide what is correct?—the God, the social contractors, or the people who have guns in their hands?

The highly anticipated film of 2024 was released today, marking a unique attempt to showcase technology, a first for Bollywood movies. The film accurately portrays the power of AI, nanotechnology and advanced human reproduction, with a focus on the difference b/w a controlled mind and a freewill soldier.
Tiger Shroff delivers a fine performance, while AK maintains his action-packed image with flair. Prithviraj Sukumaran steals the show as an antagonist, keeping audiences captivated until his dramatic reveal. Dialogue delivery and character personas are impressive, with notable performances from Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Sonakshi Sinha. Manish Chaudhari and Ronit Roy also shine in their respective roles. Although the songs are forgettable and there are some flaws in the climax, it’s still a thrilling action-packed film worth watching for the upcoming weekend.
Tip: While familiarity with Hollywood’s GI Joe franchise may enhance your understanding of certain elements in the movie.

The lives of three air hostesses, played by Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, whose lives take a dramatic turn when they become entangled in a web of deception. Initially, their deceitful actions seem to bring them success, but soon their lives spiral downward like a roller coaster, hitting rock bottom. However, instead of resigning to their fate, they decide to turn the tables for the greater good.
Despite an average script, the stellar performances by all three leading ladies captivate the audience. The film features catchy songs from the 90s, aiming to keep the audience engaged throughout. Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti shine in their roles, portraying a blend of style, substance, and charisma without resorting to vulgarity.
While the storyline lacks depth and fails to sustain interest in many scenes, notable performances from supporting actors such as Diljit Dosanjh, Rajesh Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Kapil Sharma add depth to the narrative.
“Crew” deemed a one-time watch, but the good performances and glamorous aesthetics make it an enjoyable ride for fans of the leading actors.

The trailer showcased convincing actors like N.Shah, V. Raaz, E.Hashmi, Mouni,Shriya,R.Khandelwal.
The series delves into the behind-the-scenes / off camera fights and struggle of the film industry, portraying how it operates and what is required to make it work.
The interactions between Naseerudin Shah - Emraan Hashmi, Vijay Raaz -E. Hashmi were noteworthy. Mouni Roy delivered a good performance, while seeing Shriya Saran after a long time added to the intrigue. Rajeev Khandelwal as Armaan Singh was also good. Mahima Makwana, looks convincing in most of her scenes.
The good part was, director didn’t showcase any obscene scenes to run this series, language is there but no nudity/ sexual content. Cameos will put smiles on your face.
Overall, it appears to be a promising watch. It’s a drink not for everyone but for filmiholics only.
