Freak Metal Records was founded in June 2010 as a housing for the music of Dead Nedry. The first release was by his doom metal band Akem Manah in July 2010. In late 2014 / early 2015, Freak Metal will open to the public & give underground / extreme bands in doom metal, drone metal, black metal, ambient & electronic music a chance to be heard.

We will accept any band that is willing to work with us. We will release whatever you want, if you want to release one song a month every month, we will do that. We prefer albums or eps but we will take what we can get. Any quality, We want to release the music you want to release. If you are happy with it then we are happy with it. Music will be sold on labels Bandcamp page and all digital partners including Itunes & Amazon. (note: August 2013 - Also, we are working at the moment on making connections with other small labels / distro's to help sell your music.) We will sell cds but being an underground label, we cannot print cd's for you. We ask that you provide a certain amount of cd's to us to add to the store. (note: August 2013 - We may be able to help with printing cost for small quantities once the label is opened.) We will help in promotion (reviews, internet radio, youtube, ad's, forums), but ask that you also help. Once again, we are just starting and need all the help we can to help you the artist. Artist who sign will make 75% of all sales. 25% will be collected by the label to pay for time, cost/fee's registering music both physical and digital, signing up artist for internet radio play (if cost needed), running ad's.
