This is a long waited announcement for those patiently waiting for Battle Reports. This will also be a channel update.

As promised the finished product,

I present to you, my gift to the 35th Security Forces Squadron. I worked hard to leave this artifact as thanks to the Squadron and the people that gave me the opportunity to not only grow professionally , but to become a better person overall. I had some pretty rough and down low days, but I had good mentors, friends, and people who rallied around me and didn’t write me off.

I hope that others are inspired to continue to leave Artifacts in the Heritage Room of the Squadron, and I hope those that come after me find good favor and fortune within the 35th Security Forces Squadron like I did.

I know this isn’t level painting but I am proud of it, Warhammer.

With all the stress of this PCS I was able to at least finish the major project. This project is a Squadron Artifact that I will leave as a gift. It is a rendition of the 35th SPS at Phan Rang Air Base Vietnam.

This goal gifting the Squadron this Artifact is to help foster a sense of community and encourage others to do the same.

Final pictures when the base is finished will be taken.

Update on my last post:

Ok, So I managed to get a direct flight from Haneda to LAX, and as I was confirming the Pet Slots with both American and JAL, it is discovered that only One Pet was reserved instead of Two. Despite my explicit and careful worded request for Two Kennels and Two Cats.

So I will have to call JAL again within 48hrs to see if Both Cats are cleared. Now the only thing is to get a POA for my car to whoever is going to meet Katelynn in Dallas…

If this doesn’t work, I will be forced to try to extend my stay here. Honestly I need a Win badly…. I need something to go right…

BLUF: Neither JAL or American Airlines wants to claim responsibility or authority to help get my Cats back to the States, additionally people keep telling me different things.

I just want to fu***ng scream at this point. Trying to get my cats from Japan to the United States has become an absolute nightmare. These last two weeks I have been on the phone with JAL and American Airlines. Each service provider has given me different answers and some of those answers have been in direct opposition to what I need or to what each other have told me. I have Gone to SATO now 3 separate times.

These Cats have been with Katelynn Hecht and I were married in England, they are family, and I will be damned before I leave the behind.

The basic problem is I have been given assurances things are taken care of and then after calling for follow ups, those assurances weren’t correct and weren’t worth the oxygen committed to them.

This PCS has been nothing but waiting for other people to do their jobs and waiting for other people to give me actual answers.

I have a two final options, 1 find the most direct flight to LAX and give over POA of my Car to my Wife/Aunt or attempt to say longer here in Japan until I get a flight.

Just finished the Silver on the Gun Barrels, Treads, and Exhaust Pipes. I just have to finish the silver on the Manticore, Hydra, & Taurox Prime.

Finished painting the Catachan Green/Castellan Green tiger stripes on the Tanks. Currently using assembly line painting to see if it increases my efficiency in both painting techniques and completing models from my pile of shame. I honestly want your opinion on how it looks.

Next will be the Silver, probably going to use Chainmail or Leadbelcher on the tank tracks and gun barrel.

My progress from tonight’s stream. I like the variation of the two stripe/three stripe pattern. I have 2 more Leman Russ tanks, 2 Hydra Flak tanks, 1 Manticore, & a Taurox Prime.

Still doing assembly line painting, but I am taking a break from the line infantry. I still have 60 Guardsmen to finish, and roughly 30 Stormtroopers. But I feel accomplished that I am denting the pile.

In roughly 7hrs, I will be conducting a 24hr livestream for charity to raise money for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency through my Tiltify link. The goal is $5000. I will be streaming in all platforms, , Kick Streaming, YouTube, and Facebook Gaming.

I will be painting Warhammer 40K Miniatures the entirety of the stream, only taking breaks for food, water, bathroom, and Fatherly Duties. With everything going in the world right now, I have decided to dedicate my time to hopefully raise money to stop a little human suffering from happening.

The First new Imperial Guard Model Kits finished. I am glad the minor conversion of beret heads fits so well with the model. It’s nice to see that my idea of Air Force Security Forces didn’t completely fall on its face. Thank you everyone who joined me today for the stream.

Also probably the best result of painting in eye balls I have ever made.
