It may look innocuous, but this, my friends, is Vieux-Boulogne, arguably the STINKIEST CHEESE IN THE WORLD! 🚨 🌎
It’s an unpasteurized, unpressed cow’s-milk cheese.
From Wiki: “Vieux-Boulogne is famed for its strong smell  and in November 2004 was found by researchers at Cranfield University to be the “smelliest” of 15 French and British cheeses that they tested. A follow-up test done by the same institution using “electronic nose” sensors in March 2007 reaffirmed Vieux-Boulogne’s status as the world’s “smelliest” cheese.”
Yum yum.
More on this and other cheese stuff in our latest epi; link in bio!

Ok so it’s my TWENTY-FIFTH birthday! Big deal! Ok fine, I’m 40. Anyway, what a great time to introduce myself and elicit birthday greetings. Thanks in advance!! 🤣🙃 My name is Melody and I run this pod show. I’m on break from the podcast currently, pursuing some other artistic endeavours - namely painting portraits and learning to tattoo. My art stuff is over at . BUT I’ll be back, my sweet tiger babies! I just needed a break. As one does. 😽
🤟Teach Me Tiger forever! Happy birthday, meeee!!!!🤟

Whoop whooooop. 🚨Episode 68 is LIVE. 🚨 68 – So Why Do I Feel Like A Psychopath? (Attachment Theory w/ Viara Mileva)
“Viara Mileva, PhD is back, with our good buddy Liz Cooper, to unpack childhood attachment styles, and pontificate on how they affect us and our interpersonal relationships as adults. Viara is wearing her former academic hat (she works now as a photographer,) as she spent years in the lab studying how primary caregivers and small children interacted and bonded (or in some cases, how they didn’t do those things.) We break down the different attachment styles, how they’re formed, and what they mean. We discuss whether one can work around these labels, or even overcome them. We also get into the importance of taking these labels with a grain of salt, and recognizing the complex series of factors that go into any and all of our behaviours. Attachment styles are but a piece of the puzzle, but they’re an important piece and we’ve all got them. Let’s get vulnerable, baby!”

Who dat? It’s Melody’s 87-year-old father and her 7-year-old mini-me, one of whom stars in our Father’s Day-ish release. Can you guess which? 🤪
SHOW NOTES: “Back by popular demand, it’s Melody’s father Justin – and just in time for Father’s Day. He’s been working on a list of tales yet untold, and he’s here to share them with us all (ever lucky!) Justin has been interviewed in several previous episodes of Teach Me Tiger – Episode 44, My Daddy Is A Ballerina, Episode 55, Trying Different Things, and Episode 58, The Hippie Years – telling stories from his wildly eventful and interesting life. Justin felt he’d left some good ones out, so here we are! Let’s all hope he remembers more tales that he must recant in another future episode. In this episode, we hear a bit about Justin’s own father, debacles onstage, his libidinous pursuits, and more. He’s charming as ever. Enjoy and Happy Fathers Day!”

Have you listened to the episodes with my Dad? And you’re obviously delighted by him?! If so, this post is for you because he rode this very bike around in NYC.

You guys. This is my dad’s old road bike that he bought in NYC in the early 60s. I’ve dubbed it Jean Luc Peugeot. This bike has been with me for so long - through some very wild and formative years. It’s been run over by a truck in Toronto. It’s a little bit cobbled back together. And I just replaced the tube on the back wheel ALL BY MYSELF for the first time ever and I’m so so very tickled! Spring is just so delicious and I’m so happy to be spending it with Jean Luc Peugeot. 😻
