Logistic Records

Logistic Records, founded in 1996, focuses on techno and house music influenced by Productions intended to be played by djs in clubs.

Logistic Records is an independent music label that focuses primarily on electronic techno and house music influenced by Chicago, Detroit and Berlin, groove is at the center of each of the label's productions. With a discography of nearly 200 references, Logistic Records has had the pleasure of producing albums by pioneering artists such as Robert Hood, Daniel Bell, Atom Heart, James Taylor as wel

l as collaborating with talented composers such as John Thomas, Cabanne, Jacques, Ricardo Villalobos or Bruno Pronsato. From another collaboration with Jean-Guillaume Cabanne born in 1999 Telegraph a sub-label dedicated to productions with slower grooves and more complex sound textures. Since 2017 the logo and covers are designed by Artworklove Studio. For each release, Logistic Records invites a guest visual artist to create the images for the covers, music videos and stage designs in collaboration with composers and music producers. Today, the label is opening up to other genres such as hip-hop, notably with the release in 2021 of the album “Keith’s Salon” by New York rap legend Kool Keith.

A SONG FOR EVERYONE - @arkerone87 & @pitspector A Song For Everyone – What starts out as the sweet reminiscence of Prince’s Controversy flips one on its head with a flash of Emmanuel Ferraz’s guttural trombone stabs into one of the more clever and tasty jams of Ark or Pit solo. From the angelic vocal snippets to the rock heavy kick drum, this one is angry, with just a touch of the angelic to uplift.

HAWAÏ - @arkerone87 & @pit.spector Hawai – is the distinct closer that even Mark Motherbaugh may have dreamt up for a movie. Alexandre Petit’s keys pick along with sincere devotion to a drifting guitar and prominent three note bass line that delivers us perfectly home smiling and satisfied with the beach we just left, and the luau we just ate from.

At the essence of this album is Ark & Pit’s supreme happiness, and freedom, from adhering to the rules of arrangements and musical clichés. The delicacy in which these eight tracks are made seems at first listen to be almost breakable, like a painting on a spiderweb. Each track flows into each other like a downward bound Slinky -- intentionally scattered and unpredictable.The only musical rules adhered to here are those which are pure and good, all others have been discarded…This is punk by day and house by night.
