Vonesper Studios was created by Kevin Vonesper to produce music and video for himself and others. Kevin and his team specialize in song writing, music production, live event recording, music videos, and documentaries. We work anywhere from the most extreme environments to the most corporate. We're home to a roster of artists including Vonesper and dEKAY(untilgone), and are the resident video team
for all VampireFreaks and SMack events in NYC. At age 11, Kevin played his first rock show as bassist in a band of high school-aged students. He started writing and recording music in 4th grade, then used his high school band Project Mayhem to push the limits of gritty sounds and pop appeal. While frequently acting as producer for his friends' visions, he conceived Vonesper as a studio-project for collaborators to bring musical ideas to life. Kevin has also made a career of his shooting and editing skills. Highlights include creating the subcultural web TV series Twilight Vision, assistant editor of “My First Time,” (winner of Sports Programming Special Emmy Award, 2009), editor of “ThisIs50.Com: Uncle Murda.” (Viral Video of the Month. XXL Magazine, June 2008) and co-editor of rock band Hellyeah's DVD "Below the Belt," 2007. In 2014, Vonesper released their first full-length album Stalemate (produced by members Kevin Vonesper and Kris Halpern) featuring 17 diverse musicians including members of BILE, Hudson Hank, and The World/Inferno Friendship Society. Kevin has also performed with/toured as a member of (Grammy nominated) Green Jelly, The Radioactive Chickenheads, Rosemary's Billygoat, Erosian Exile, dEKAY (untilgone), Ritz Riot!, Putty Root and Skeletal Life.
