Cloudland is actually a Brisbane reference to both an historic ballroom venue held in high regard, and the band i used to play in. The venue was destroyed over night much like the auld celtic tiger was. I remember Grant Mclennon (Gobetweens) describing the floor of Cloudland to me once with the look of pure bliss, he was mad for the sprung and suspended floor. It is a name i really like because it has so many possibilities. If you yourself, or any one you know is looking to record i am offering reasonable rates with and without an engineer. I myself get a kick out of production so im happy to offer my ears and thoughts too.
