Following a string of life-altering changes, series of self-reflection, and non-linear journey of healing, Kalmia wrote and self-published a poetry zine in 2016.

What became of these poems has evolved and mutated into a world beyond their pages, and into musical, sonic form: the new Rubblebucket album.

The wait for “That Weight” by ’s Well Wisher is over. When they signed to Egghunt Records, we announced the release of their “Need You Around” video back in July. Variously described as alternative indie-rock, emo and/or pop/punk, the new single, “29,” embodies the essence of being not-yet-30. The album is a stunning reminder that rock, despite calls for its funeral, is still very much alive.

On 𝘔𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, Alyssa takes stock of the past, putting the memories back together and making a new sense of them. Like the title, the album is vivid, yet unprocurable.

Written, recorded, and all produced by herself, these nine tracks are the result of her solitary and vulnerable craft.
