Ludhiana police have successfully apprehended three members of a juvenile gang involved in robbing passers-by.
From whom 02 mobile phones, 01 motorcycle, 01 active and 01 dat iron were recovered.
The gang, comprising six unidentified individuals, was reported to have stopped and threatened a motorist with firewood, kirpan, and sticks near Thike Phatka on April 1st. The victim, identified as Sanjay Das, was relieved of his belongings, including a bag and mobile phone, before the assailants fled the scene.
Within 24 hours, the diligent efforts of the police force led to the apprehension of three suspects: Abhishek Kumar alias Chidi (16), Mukesh Kumar alias Mukal (16), and Deepak Kashap (17). Abhishek Kumar resides at the 12-room yard Ranchi Colony, Mukesh Kumar at Village Sunderpur Chhoti Pokhar near Dilimore District Darbanga Bihar, and Deepak Kashap at Village Thakkarwal Backside Bhagu Workshop near Historical Gurdwara First Patshah Ludhiana.

Jamalpur police have arrested three
individuals and identified two others involved in a spate of
motorcycle and mobile phone thefts in the area.
The arrested individuals, Harsh Singh alias Harry (21),
Arshpreet Singh alias Goni (19), and Gagandeep Singh
alias Gagan (19), were found in possession of seven
motorcycles and five mobile phones, which they had
allegedly stolen and sold to shopkeepers.
Two other accused, Ekram Veenu and Dilpreet Singh alias
Deepu, are currently at large. Ekram Veenu, among the
accused, runs a mobile shop.
The accused had been active in the area for the past year,
targeting motorcycles parked in various areas such as
Sector 32, BCM Park, Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College
area, Moti Nagar, and CMC Hospital area. They allegedly
used a master key to steal vehicles and even targeted
commuters to snatch their valuables
A case has been registered against the accused under
sections 379, 379B, 380, 34, and 411 of the Indian Penal
Code (IPC).

Ahead of the farmers’ proposed Delhi Chalo march, the Haryana government sealed the state’s border with Punjab in Ambala and ordered suspension of mobile internet and bulk SMS services in seven districts beginning 6 am on February 11.
According to an official order, the mobile internet services will remain suspended in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts till 23:59 pm on February 13.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the Sadak Surakhya Force (SSF) at an event held at the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) headquarters in Jalandhar on Saturday. This is the first such force in the country.
The 1,600-strong force would be deployed across a 4,000 km road network of national highways and state highways in Punjab.
It comprises 144 vehicles including 116 high-end Toyota Hilux vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art gadgets and linked to the nearest trauma centres to help accident victims.
SSF teams would be deployed every 30 kilometres to assist accident victims and ensure that the latter get medical treatment within 15 minutes, CM Mann said while launching the SSF

The suspects arrived in a white Hyundai Aura around 6:30 pm, initially posing as customers before revealing their intentions.
Without concealing their faces, they brandished a pistol, subdued the jeweler, and swiftly escaped in their car. Joginder Kumar promptly raised the alarm, leading to police intervention and an ongoing investigation.
