The Danse Macabre Series (1 - 3, so far) sets the perfect scene to immerse yourself into the depth of musical intricacy that (DJ )Hellfyre has become known for and the third excerpt in the series definitely does not disappoint. Hellfyre has taken the self imposed exile of the COVID epidemic and turned it into something special.
Danse Macabre No. 3 - My Shattered Soul is masterful. Slowly bubbling under the surface of what Hellfyre refers to as his NetherSound; this mix blends some great melodic progressive tracks and builds from a place of reverence to a level where the listener can't help to want to be on the shore of some island during sunset or sunrise, or on a rooftop high above the city, dancing, living, and taking in.....everything.
Seamless mixing and fantastic track selection make this an auditory experience that you may never want to come back from. My Shattered Soul is a Hellfyre's return to the turntables after nearly a year and if this is what is in store, then frankly, we can't wait to see what other tricks The Dark Prince has up his sleeves.
