Expressions of Interest to have Personalised Marine Vessel Registrations (PMVR) nationally trademarked adopted with legislation changes.
Expressions of Interest, to create Personalised Marine Vessel Registrations (PMVR) optional and nationally.
Trademarking nationally has been applied for, as has a trust company and tax file number. We will be offering unit shares to only 20 investors, in each state, as work with the government departments to ensure a seamless transition from the current IT systems.
This is so any recreational vessel can have an optional personalised marine vessel registration label, along the same line as personalised vehicle registrations. It's planned and hoped to have PMVR's adopted here in Queensland and all States in time. We are currently working with three States Departments and Ministers in Queensland, South Australia and New South Wales, as we are in the early stages in our discussions for our proposal of personalising marine vessel registration.
It was timely we announced our proposal at the May 2022 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in the Gold Coast Bulletins article on Page 11, by well-known and respected journalist Paul Weston and it's planned to take this PMVR internationally.
We have a good cross-section of industry letters of support all presented to all states along with our PowerPoint presentation.

Please note it's a lengthy cost process to get legislation changes even drafted, so we need to be understanding as we work through legislation bill amendments’ and or a new bill altogether. This could take some 12-18 months, if we can provide the information the departments require to bring it before parliament, as we work closely with those state departments requirements, for these change to be considered.
The proposal we have put forward will see a benefit to marine safety in each state, from the foundation trust planned and in place.
