Calgary! Thanks for the moderately good weather, public art, and INCREDIBLE library! Seriously, go visit the central library location if you get the chance, it’s stunning 🤩
One of my fav moments was visiting where one of the artists had an installation featuring poems you could take from the mailbox 🥹 (slides 4 and 5) 💓 SO cute, what the lovely artist wrote on the poem I happened to pick up is why I write poetry too 🫶

Opening night for GIFTS OF MADNESS yesterday was incredible!! Truly one of the coolest things I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of. ♥️ The amount of creativity and hard work that went into this exhibit being put together was astounding. It features artists from across Canada (and some worldwide!) with their take on mental heath and mad pride. It definitely made me feel less alone to know that so many other folks struggle with their mental health, and I hope you feel that way too.✨ Huge THANK YOU to guest curator @kagangoh for his vision, for Paul and the team at @pentictonartgallery for bringing this all together, and mad props to all of the locals who came out in support last night!! I was SO impressed by the turnout 🫶 To you reading this - GO SEE IT! The exhibit is on display now until mid-May at Penticton Art Gallery. Seattle was definitely a roller-coaster ride of ups and downs. From commemorating the one-year anniversary of losing someone to suicide, to having the opportunity to be back on the west coast and explore, to getting rear-ended - it’s been a riiiiiide. 🥵 In these moments, I’m reminded of duality and how we can hold multiple emotional experiences at once. I’m still grieving and mourning the passing of a loved one, AND still excited to have had the chance to explore Seattle last week. I got in a car accident out of nowhere which really shook me up, AND I still feel so grateful to be able to travel and do what I love. Despite the big bumps along the way, I’m always going to be grateful for this journey. Especially grateful to have the chance to be back in BC this weekend with my family! Sending love to all of you experiencing the ups and downs on this roller-coaster ride that we call life. 💛 #journey #seattle #chiaragoesglobal
