The inaugural JuneteenthTech Summit “Building a Future of Inclusion and Tech Equity: AI, Blacks & Business LIVE at Medgar Evers College, Brooklyn, NY.

A convening of Black tech leaders, influencers, and supporters of the Black tech community during Juneteenth celebrations to discuss and present solutions to the racial technology gap. This year the summit will be presented in New York during The Wealth Weekend: Juneteenth NYC - a Black Wealth Events series during Juneteenth focusing on technology and economic development produced by The Coutureman LLC: Advisory.

Here are some tips to help you get comfortable with public speaking: Practice, Practice, Practice: Rehearse your speech multiple times. Familiarity with your material will boost your confidence. Practice in front of a mirror, record yourself, or present to a trusted friend or family member for feedback. Know Your Audience: Tailor your speech to your audience's interests and level of understanding. Understanding your audience helps you connect with them more effectively. Organize Your Content: Structure your speech with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. Use bullet points or key phrases on note cards to keep yourself on track. Visual Aids: Use visual aids (slides, props, etc.) to enhance your presentation. Keep visuals simple, and use them as a supplement rather than a replacement for your speech. Control Nervousness: Practice deep breathing exercises or visualization techniques before your speech. Channel nervous energy into enthusiasm and passion for your topic. Engage Your Audience: Make eye contact with your audience to establish a connection. Encourage questions or interaction to involve your audience in the discussion. Start Strong and End Strong: Capture attention with a compelling opening. Conclude with a memorable statement or call to action.
