Newly designed Villa by MIA Design Studio designed for a lady owner who truly desires a comfortable and convenient living space located in the heart of a busy city.
The main idea was to create a floating living space on a mini garden, which gives you the feeling of walking on bridges. All the main activities of the home will be connected through the empty space between grass, water and natural light.
Another outstanding feature, the location is adjacent to Saigon's historic architectural works such as Tan Dinh Church, Tan Dinh Market. In addition, the house located in the middle of District 3 is considered the most "crowded" area of the city. In the early morning or late afternoon, you can hear the bells clearly from the Church, or just stepping out of the house a few steps away from you can directly touch the air of Saigon "alley" which can be considered a specialty of the city culture t h e.
The design team created a thin steel enclosure that relatively separates private spaces without creating a sense of imprisonment. In the future, the climbing rope will spread over the whole steel mesh system and create a fresh green patch for the house instead of concrete, cold steel.
From the outside, the shape of the house can be seen as a simple box but from the inside it contains many layers of space as well as the morning and night squares with concrete and rough rock. Last but not least, the house offers comfort to the owners where they can enjoy a "garden" with all the flavors of Saigon in their own home.
