Philtimes.com - Linking Filipinos to the world
Philtimes.com is an online news magazine that aims to publish interesting articles about Pinoys around the world and topics of interest to Filipinos and those who want to establish a linkage with the Filipino identity.
Philtimes.com was born in 2010 but it was merely a domain name with no serious online presence. It was simply taken when we were rebranding The Philippine Times’ online presence. Established in 1990, The Philippine Times is Australia’s longest-serving Filipino news magazine. In 2010, philtimes.com.au went online to cater to the growing needs of information-hungry Pinoy-Aussies.
However, living in an interconnected world where digital media is growing exponentially, we realized that concentrating only in Australia means that we are wasting our limited resources by targeting a limited audience while spending the same amount of time and manpower in maintaining it.
So, in 2019, we have decided to expand our target audience and concentrate more on building our online infrastructure on philtimes.com.
We hope that you can help us grow by suggesting topics of interest to you and sharing our posts to your network.
