During that era Jim was an AMA Pro Motocrosser (National #100), Editor of Cycle News, and worked at both Husqvatna East and Moto-Fox as Marketing Director and Product Designer for both. He photographed and cronicaled all the major motocross series including the Inter Am, Trans Am, Florida Winter AMA, AMA Nationals and Supercross Series with all the legendary riders from Heikki Mikola and Roger Decoster, to Bob Hannah, Tony DiStefano and Marty Smith. Jim remains today one of the premier photographers in the motorcycle world. GODSPEED LARRY HUFFMAN
We sadly have to say "Good Bye" to everyone's best friend, with the passing of legendary motorsports announcer Larry "Supermouth" Huffan. We first knew Larry with his announcing at Costa Mesa Speedway and Saddleback in the early '70s, then the major Supercross, Motocross and Dirt Track Events across America, the International Motorcycle Shows, and my own Los Angeles Calendar Motocyle Shows at the Santa Monica Airport and the Queen Mary Event Park in Long Beach. He was an incredible person, friend and a legend what helped grow our sport. Godspeed Larry.
