IS THIS THE BIGGEST NATIONAL SECURITY BREACH - A FOREIGN DIPLOMAT AS THE HEAD OF REGIONAL SECURITY?
A leaked document shows that the recently appointed Head of Somali Region Security Bureau Dr. Hussien Kasim, a Canadian/Somali, was a veteran diplomat from Somalia who has been appointed as Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya. Reliable source had it that the Kenyan gov't rejected the appointment citing national security grounds.
As it appears, Dr. Kassim not only holds a foreign nationality but had also served the national security interests of a foreign country before being appointed to the most critical regional security position that also has a profound national security implications.
We are also getting tips that Mustafa Omer, the Somali regional state president, also holds a foreign passport. We are working relentlessly to get our hands on unrefutable evidence that proofs this claim.
The nomination of Dr. Hussein Abdullahi Kasim, commonly known as Hussein Hashi (his middle formal name is Abdullahi while Hashi is his father's nickname) is the height of absurdity given all that fuss about diasporas seeking or holding office.
