Pohoda Festival Update

Last night severe thunderstorms moved through Trenćin. I left a tent to go shelter in a vehicle and the tent collapsed 30 seconds after I left. Went back on the festival grounds and emergency vehicles were everywhere and all personel and security have left the gates.

One of the main circus tents had collapsed and emergency crews worked diligently to look after festival attendees.

In the end there was no way to inspect every structure for safety and continue so the remainder of Pohoda was canceled. In the end there were only 12 minor injuries.

Hats off to the festival coordinators, first responders, and attendees for calmly dealing with what could have been a much worse situation.

Our adventure was nothing short of epic.
