The NewsScape federation sets out to rethink the way the internet is organised, by adapting the original ideas of Sir Tim Berners Lee. We realise this will be a gradual process, but we are willing to stick at it.

We are a federation of critics who share our ideas of herding worthy headline content into the various obvious channels with a suitable introductory paragraph. It’s not a great deal of work, but eventually we hope that users wanting to get a “helicopter view with perspective” of what is going on, will check the relevant NewsScape channel first. We particularly like the example of Isleofsark.newsscape and hope that other island communities will adopt the concept.
