"The Golden Years" is one of the tracks in which we, (at Secret Sin Records) were (luckily) able to rescue from 'beyond the grave' in 2019 (with the help of one brave soul). What you are hearing here is the uncut, unmastered track, in the raw, exactly as Voe left it in his hard drive before he passed away. In fact, each track on Servant of the Grail is exactly the way Voe left it, before finishing the album, which was originally due to be released around Easter of 2017. (The only tracks Voe mastered to completion on SOTG before his untimely death are "Inanna" & "Haunted".) Sadly, Voe fell terminally ill in February of 2017, and thus was never able to complete the album in the way in which he intended. He passed away only a couple months later, in April that same year.
All who's lives were touched by Voe and his work will eternally mourn his passing. 🥀 ⚰️ 🪦 🐦⬛ 🦇 🎶
