Our gaming group explored hundreds of games written by hundreds of authors whose ideas were expressed in thousands of books, which we, collectively, have read. Unfortunately you cannot receive a degree in tabletop gaming. However, if there was...we would be among the professors of that school.

We played for hours which would turn into days which would turn into weeks...like a flame that would

never go out. We immediately realized that we became keepers of the flame, the flame of PURE GAMING AWESOME. We, at Dirty Scabbard, have an obligation to pass this flame along to new gamers, new dreamers, new adventurers.

The adventures WE LIVED THROUGH, the adventures we will pass on, are UNIQUE, ACTION-PACKED, CRAZY AWESOME, and FUN! Our adventures INTENTIONALLY have a homegrown feel, we call it a "dirty style". Now, you might call it "rough" style, or a "grassroots" style. At the end of the day...IT IS PURE AWESOME, and we think you'll agree.

We aren’t a clean, spotless, commercial group of gamers. We are dirty gamers, dirty dice rollers, dirty players, every last one of us! We don't need a pixel-driven electron brain sucker to keep us entertained because we know how read, imagine, creatively solve problems, and ROLL DICE. Nothing in the electron world even comes close to beating the feeling of exploding a DIRTY 20 on some poor goblin's face and having your friends at the table roar with excitement. I know you all feel the same way...THE DIRTY SCABBARD WAY.
