This buck may not be a monster! But this buck means so much to me. I’ve always been spoiled with being “guided” Not this one though! I e-scouted for awhile before I actually picked this spot! When scouting the area I found the sign that made me say yes I’m hunting here. Morning of the hunt I used a lot from my past hunts & the stuff I learned from listening to my favorite podcast! Everything fell in-line perfectly & my hard work paid off!

So he may not be big! But I spent a lot of time into this hunt! I’m super proud of myself!

One of the coolest things I’ve seen wolves devouring their prey in Yellowstone National Park! Definitely the highlight of the trip! I stood in the snow/rain to watch these wolves! Such a beautiful thing! Huge thanks to the guy who shared his spotting scope with me so I could see a little closer up!

May not have even seen a bear… But this weekend was still a success to me! We did see some bucks & a fox. Saw sign of bear & even heard a mountain lion.

For me this weekend was amazing. It’s not all about killing of the animal. But the adventure of being out in the woods, doing something new. Something I’ve wanted to do for 4 years now! I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to be apart of this weekend!

It was my 1st time bear hunting, 1st time hunting mn, 1st time hunting from a tree stand…. 🐻 🏹

Saw this guy right off the road!
