A bit about us...
Soundings Trade Only has been bringing marine industry news to marine companies since 1979. We cover all aspects of recreational boating and the businesses that comprise this industry, including boatbuilders, electronics and engine OEMs, marinas, dealers, vendors, suppliers, associations, distributors, and boatyards.
We and the entire industry have been through transitions over the last four decades, but Soundings Trade Only has never lost focus on reporting the news that helps our readers navigate this uniquely American and highly-fragmented cottage industry. Our commitment to bringing accurate and timely stories to the industry has helped Soundings Trade Only gain an outstanding reputation as the go-to publication for relevant news.
We cover breaking news — such as mergers and acquisitions — and provide in-depth analysis around issues in manufacturing, environmental compliance and regulation, technology, and growing the recreation. We also explore small business, marketing, manufacturing and consumer trends to help inform our readers on what’s happening in other industries. Our coverage has earned us numerous awards from groups like Boating Writers’ International and Apex.
