This is a nice video that some of you might get a kick out of - A Tour of the Parkes Radiotelescope produced by CSIRO in 1979. In the middle of the video you can clearly hear the time signal from VNG Lyndhurst, including the familiar voice ident.

This was playing on my mind as earlier today I unearthed some radiochemistry paperwork (microwave spectroscopy) that I must have picked up from Monash Uni at some point, who had a large microwave spectroscopy department up into the 1990s.
