It is with great sadness that I'm here to announce the passing of Jan Lambert. She died peacefully with her loving, caring family by her side. She was a one of my closest friends and will be sorely missed by all. Jan was the Valley Green Journal's chief editor and writer from 2012 till 2020. Although we stopped publishing the Journal in the summer of 2020 Jan never stopped working for the cause. She was a real shaker and mover. Her contributions and tireless efforts will always be remembered.
The Journal website will be up and running for a bit longer. Not quite sure how long. All of the 73 Valley Green Journal issues and the 6 Valley Water Journals issues we did are there. It's out of date, which I apologize for. I will try to update it. After the website closes down you will be still able to view all of the Journal issues on the Biodiversity for a Livable Planet website. Thank you to those folks for giving the Journal issues a good home.
I will be keeping this page open and will be posting from time to time. Although I would like to continue publishing the Valley Green Journal in printable/pdf form, I really don't have the time right now to dedicate to it. I am hoping in the future I will. There are still so many things to write about and share.
