GSMC Award Winner
We were finally able to present Matt Keddie Music with his GSMC Music Awards for Best Tribute/ Cover Artist last week (and Happy Birthday for Sunday). Matt has come on leaps and bounds over the past year and has developed into a real talent either performing covers or as a tribute to Ed Sheeran

An amazing day at South Hill Park , Wilde Sundays.
Some good friends supporting me and amazing music by The Gillies , and The Nefarious Picaroons , and to Crown it all I was presented with my GSMC Music award for best showcase artist.
Very humbled (and slightly emotional as some noticed!!) to be a part of it all.
Thankyou Graham Steel Music Company and the whole SHP team.

Best Showcase Artist – Simon Morley
Simon Morley is a Hampshire based singer and songwriter who has been a regular performer at our showcase events last year and he has released a number of singles which have started to get BBC Radio plays. It has been great to see his confidence improve as a live performer and also a songwriter. A worthy Winner of our Showcase Artist of the Year Award.

Best Tribute/ Cover Artist – Matt Keddie
It has been amazing to see how much Matt Keedie has improved as a performer over the past year with his tribute to Ed Sheeran. His skill with the Loop Pedal and his connection with the audience are impressive. He has also been a great supporter of GSMC stepping in on many occasions when artists have pulled out due to illness at the last moment.

Best Instrumentalist – Amrit Sond
We have had the pleasure of working with Amrit Sond many times over the years, his performance for us last year at South Hill Park Arts Centre was spellbinding. Amrit pushes the boundaries of what is possible on the guitar to ne levels and has now introduced his voice into the proceedings not as a singer but as an instrument in it’s own right.

Best Newcomer (Duo) - Erica and the Wildebeest

Erica and the Wildebeest are a dup featuring Erica Steenkamp and Christopher Newland who blew us away with their performances last year, wonderful songwriting, beautiful voice and intricate guitar playing, which wowed audiences each time the performed for us.
