Mast Malang مَست ملنگ پرندوں کی دُنیا کا درویش ہوں میں
کہ شاہیں بناتا نہیں آشیانہ Malangs are interptred in many ways. instead it is from 'fuqr' ( poverty).

People who are not interested in wordly materials are called Malang. Some call themselves Malang of Ali and they stay out of worldly affairs.the word 'faqir' is not from 'fiqr' . hence a faqir is someone who doesnot have any worldly status/means ,many awliya allah/ulama call themselves as faqir in humbleness.
