A nationwide poll by the Campaign for Safer Alternatives (CASA) shows that the To***co Control Amendment Bill 2024 that is before Senate is headed in the wrong direction.

Instead of protecting health, Kenyans believe it will:

❌ Fuel the black market and basically enrich criminals
❌ Destroy honest job-creating businesses and kill jobs
❌ Push smokers back to combustible ci******es
❌ Block access to safer ni****ne alternatives like vapes & pouches

🔹 73% of respondents say banning safer products will fuel illegal sales.
🔹 81% of users believe bans will push products underground.
🔹 83% of Kenyans support to***co harm reduction policies.

With unemployment already Kenya’s biggest challenge, many argue this Bill could make things worse. Instead of a ban, Kenyans want smarter regulation that keeps safer options accessible for adults while preventing underage use.
