From Scratch to Success: My Journey in Learning German

It's hard to believe it's been a year (July 2023) since I started my journey in learning German from scratch! It was a challenging and rewarding experience, and I'm thrilled to say that I've just passed the B2 Prufung!

I remember the first time I decided to take the plunge and start learning German. I was nervous, but excited to embark on this new adventure. The first few months were tough, with grammar rules, verb conjugations, and pronunciation getting in the way. But I was determined to improve.

With consistent practice, language exchange with native speakers, and a great teacher Roanne Mae Fabula- Mandap, I slowly began to feel more confident. I started to enjoy the process of learning, discovering the beauty of German literature, music, and culture.

But it wasn't easy. There were times when I felt frustrated, when I doubted my abilities, and when I wondered if it was all worth it. However, every setback was an opportunity to learn and grow.

And now, here I am, having passed the B2 Prufung! It's an incredible feeling of accomplishment and pride. I'm so grateful for the support of my friends, family, and language learning community (Intermed Language Institute- Manila Branch) who encouraged me along the way.

I'm excited to see what the future holds for my German language journey. Who knows what new adventures and experiences await me?

To anyone who is starting or continuing their own language learning journey, I want to say: Congratulations on taking the first step!

You're not alone in this journey, and every obstacle you overcome is a testament to your strength and determination.

🌊🐠 Last Month was an unforgettable day spent exploring the crystal-clear waters of Kerama Island in Okinawa, Japan! With the help of the amazing team at English Empire Divers Okinawa イングリッシュ　エンパイヤー　ダイバーズ沖縄, we embarked on a 1-day diving adventure that left us speechless.

The island's turquoise waters were teeming with an array of marine life, from colorful coral reefs to playful sea turtles and schools of tropical fish. Our experienced guides led us through the depths, sharing fascinating insights into the underwater world and helping us capture stunning photos and memories.

We also had the opportunity to visit some of Kerama's hidden gems, including a vibrant coral garden. The visibility was exceptional, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the ocean floor.

Overall, it was a truly magical experience that we will cherish forever. We can't thank English Empire Divers Okinawa enough for their expertise, hospitality, and unparalleled service. If you're ever in Okinawa and looking for an unforgettable diving adventure, we highly recommend giving them a try! 🌺🌊

My 4 days Osaka, Japan Trip 2023

Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Osaka Castle

After a long flight, I finally arrived in Osaka, Japan. My first stop was Hotel Aratayo, where I would be staying for the next four days. The hotel was conveniently located near the subway station, making it easy for me to explore the city.

My first day in Osaka was dedicated to visiting the iconic Osaka Castle. The castle, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a symbol of Osaka and its rich history. I took the subway to the castle, which was just a few stops away from my hotel.

The castle grounds were beautiful, with lush greenery and stunning views of the city. I walked around the castle, admiring its intricate architecture and learning about its fascinating history. The castle also has a museum inside, which showcases artifacts and exhibits related to the castle's history.

After spending a few hours at the castle, I headed back to my hotel to rest and freshen up. I couldn't wait to explore more of Osaka tomorrow!

Day 2: Street Food and Shopping in Dotonbori

Today, I decided to explore the famous Dotonbori district. Known for its vibrant street food scene, Dotonbori is a foodie's paradise. As soon as I stepped out of the subway station, I could see the neon lights and billboards of various restaurants and shops lining the streets.

I started my day with a hearty breakfast at a local cafe, where I tried traditional Japanese breakfast items like miso soup, rice, and grilled fish. After breakfast, I hit the streets of Dotonbori to try some of the famous street food. I tried everything from takoyaki (octopus balls) to okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancakes). Each dish was more delicious than the last!

After indulging in some street food, I headed to Shinshaibashisuji, one of Japan's longest shopping arcades. The arcade is filled with shops selling everything from fashion and beauty products to electronics and souvenirs. I spent hours browsing through the shops and picking up some souvenirs for my friends back home.

Day 3: Umeda Sky Building and Japanese Cuisine

Today, I visited Umeda Sky Building, which is one of Osaka's most iconic landmarks. The building has two towers that are connected by a skywalk on the 39th floor. From the top floor, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Osaka city.

After visiting Umeda Sky Building, I headed back to Dotonbori to try some more Japanese cuisine. This time, I tried ramen at a local restaurant. The ramen was delicious and warmed me up on this chilly winter day. Later in the evening, I tried sushi at a nearby sushi restaurant. The sushi was fresh and melted in my mouth!

Day 4: Departure from Osaka

Today marked the end of my four-day trip to Osaka. As much as I enjoyed my time here, it was time for me to say goodbye to this beautiful city. Before leaving, I made sure to grab some last-minute souvenirs for my friends back home at Shinshaibashisuji.

I headed back to Hotel Aratayo to pack my bags and check out. Saying goodbye to my room was bittersweet - it had been my home away from home for the past four days! As I made my way to the subway station with my luggage in tow, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this incredible experience in Osaka. Until next time!

Apogama Beach(Mermaid’s Grotto) is located in Onna Village in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa.

The characteristic of Apogama Beach is “Natural Cave Apogama”.

In the Okinawan dialect, it means “gama = cave”.

The area around Apogama Beach was owned by the U.S. military until about 25 years ago.
So this place has not been developed as a resort.
*Now it is already returned

It is also a popular spot for diving and snorkeling, and when I went to Apogama, there were several people diving and snorkeling.

The Rhine Falls (Rheinfall) is breathtaking stupendous beauty and the largest plain waterfall in Europe.

The falls are located on the High Rhine at Neuhausen am Rheinfall Village and just below Schaffhausen in the north of Switzerland. The Rhine's waters flow at the rate of 23 meters over a breadth of 150 meters. The tub's deepness is 13 meters and the average torrential is 600 m per second. 🇨🇭
