From Scratch to Success: My Journey in Learning German
It's hard to believe it's been a year (July 2023) since I started my journey in learning German from scratch! It was a challenging and rewarding experience, and I'm thrilled to say that I've just passed the B2 Prufung!
I remember the first time I decided to take the plunge and start learning German. I was nervous, but excited to embark on this new adventure. The first few months were tough, with grammar rules, verb conjugations, and pronunciation getting in the way. But I was determined to improve.
With consistent practice, language exchange with native speakers, and a great teacher Roanne Mae Fabula- Mandap, I slowly began to feel more confident. I started to enjoy the process of learning, discovering the beauty of German literature, music, and culture.
But it wasn't easy. There were times when I felt frustrated, when I doubted my abilities, and when I wondered if it was all worth it. However, every setback was an opportunity to learn and grow.
And now, here I am, having passed the B2 Prufung! It's an incredible feeling of accomplishment and pride. I'm so grateful for the support of my friends, family, and language learning community (Intermed Language Institute- Manila Branch) who encouraged me along the way.
I'm excited to see what the future holds for my German language journey. Who knows what new adventures and experiences await me?
To anyone who is starting or continuing their own language learning journey, I want to say: Congratulations on taking the first step!
You're not alone in this journey, and every obstacle you overcome is a testament to your strength and determination.
