I took Jenetic to Temple University in Philly today! My first guest instructor experience was surreal. The feedback was great and the students definitely picked my brain. 😍 Shoutout to my mentor, Dave Anderson-The Business Bully for trusting me with his class. I’m honored and humbled.

What can I say about Exponential 2023? It was a PHENOMENAL experience. I got a chance to chat with the team at Planning Center, which one of my favorite Church Management systems for small-midsized churches.

I also ran into some of my favorite people in the Digital Ministry space. It was like a mini family reunion lol.

The feedback I received from the Creative Communications Masterclass has been amazing. One of the pastors sent a note saying it was his “favorite class of the conference so far”. With this being my first year at EX, I’m simply humbled by the love, support and response.

I can’t give a big enough ”Thank You” to my squad!! We did it!! I’m looking forward to next year’s gathering.

Mission accomplished! 🙌🏾 When I say today was next level, it really was. Everybody brought their A-game and the response has been phenomenal.

To look out at the audience and seeing the light 💡 come on while you’re teaching is such an incredible feeling. That’s the perk of what I do as a Digital Strategist. 💯

Shoutout to my girl, Katie for hosting an awesome event and a “Hey Y’all! 👋🏾” to all my new friends and followers. I’m looking forward to hearing how you all have implemented the strategies shared. Based on the various conversations had, I’m confident that this group has what it takes to shift their Communications departments into the excellence they want to see.

One of the Social Media growth questions I get often is in regards to losing followers.
While it may seem counter-productive to your growth strategy, getting unfollowed is actually a good thing.
See, as you become more clear about your message and consistent with posting content, some of your followers may realize that they're not interested. And you know what? That’s okay!
After all, you want those who want what you came to give anyway because that’s where the engagement is. 😉 So, the next time you check your analytics and see that you’ve lost some, consider the loss as a “weeding out” and focus on giving your true followers your best.
Sidenote: Expect to lose more followers than you gain when you start posting more niche-driven content. If you’re consistent, you’ll eventually see more follower gains than losses.
