Want your business to be the top-listed Media Company?
I started watching YouTube when I was in college. I quickly fell in love with several gaming channels and wanted to start my own one day. However, I didn’t have the time or resources, so it sort of fell to the back burner for many years.
Fast forward to 2018. I was married to the love of my life with the cutest little one year old EVER. I had graduated college with a theatre degree. Now what? My husband still had a couple years to go in his undergrad. We were living in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere with zero job prospects. I was lucky to have 2 part time jobs that were willing to work with our crazy schedule, but these jobs were low paying and would never lead anywhere. I found myself becoming depressed and unsatisfied with life. I was tired all the time and never had any desire to go to work anymore, but I had to to keep a roof over our heads. I was miserable.
Then one day, I had a thought. “Why not start that YouTube channel you wanted to do?” What a great idea! I started planning the channel in 2017 and planned to launch that year, but I didn’t have everything I needed quite yet. I also suffer from severe anxiety and that stopped me from trying.
Finally when I couldn’t stand it anymore I knew I needed to do SOMETHING. So I took a deep breath, sat down in front of a camera, heart pounding out of my chest, and I recorded my first video. It was rough, but it was something. I had done it!! I took the first step! And I haven’t stopped since.
