This will be the only time I use the tag...

With costs to archive our episodes going over $100 annually and the GN team confirming we probably wouldn't do another show anytime soon, we've made the decision to pull the plug on Graphically Novel. Please be sure to jump over to RetConversations as that will still be going!

We have been keeping this train going, on and off, since July 9, 2019 and 5 years is a damn good run in the podcast arena. My thanks, as always, to Vandello who I picture playing us off, my wife Jenn for pushing me to get a hobby and my forever co-host Bear who is still the alcohol to my Tony Stark.

And, of course, anyone who took the time to be on the show, recommend the show to a friend or even listen to a show. You are why we kept going.

I'm currently waiting on the support response from Podbean but it looks like the charges for the upcoming year will be $324 and for a defunct podcast and one done for fun, it just doesn't make sense to keep investing the time and money.

So, if I don't get a good response from Podbean support, Graphically Novel and RetConversations will be going off the air on Friday.

I am investigating "archive" possibilities and am holding out from my big "shutting down" post, but this week is gonna make or break the future of Graphically Novel podcasts.
