Sacrificial Mercy, a face-melting thrash/metal band from Surrey has recently finished their 5-song EP "Misanthropic Disposition", soon to be released. The band is super tight and recorded mostly live off-the-floor with members Geory Tinga (vocals), Kyle Johnson (guitar), Evan Wonziak (guitar), Blake Taylor (bass), and Sergio Coelho (drums).

Sent From Mars was just in for tracking some great new songs.
The band consists of Chadwick Wadds on guitar, Jimka Ussner for vocals and guitar, Gabriel Smyth on bass, and Steve Senyk on drums. Chadwick was formerly of Freeloader, a band that recorded with us in the 90s when our studio was still located in Richmond, awesome to have him back with his new band!

Season's Greetings! Turtle Recording Studios is featured in the CBS movie "When Christmas Was Young", which premiers this Sunday at 8pm PT. The movie features original music by Sheryl Crow who is also an Executive Producer. Christmas came early for us this year back in July, when the production chose our studio for several scenes, and is described as a "Nashville music-themed movie". In fact, in this story, Turtle Recording Studios is located in Nashville! The movie also co-stars singer/songwriter Hayley Sales. https://www.cbs.com/shows/when-christmas-was-young/
