Pakistan's central finance minister lending Chinese bank $ 1.25 billion to help Pakistan's economic crisis.

Pakistan's Central Treasury Minister Ishaq Dar says the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ACPC) has approved a three billion dollar loan to Pakistan.

Ishaq Dar tweeted on March 3 that the Chinese bank is paying the money to Pakistan in three installments, the first installment of $22 million was received by the State Bank of Pakistan.

Pakistan's foreign currency reserves will improve by getting these three installments from the Chinese bank, Ishaq Dar said.

Pakistan has been facing economic problems since 2018 and in the same year it signed a three-year agreement with the International Monetary Fund for six billion dollars.

Opposition parties say foreign exchange reserves with Pakistan have sharply decreased, which has caused inflation and the dollar has risen unparalleled in the past.

Opposition parties in Pakistan have also done demonstrations against inflation.

Bank of China has given loans to Pakistan while Islamabad is trying to face economic reforms.

In this regard, the country has imposed some new taxes and has continued to try to borrow more money from the International Monetary Fund, but the final decision has not been made in this regard.

Pakistan senate and national assembly had also approved an additional budget of Rs 15 billion at the end of February this year.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had said at the time that the taxes were levied because he borrowed $1.5 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In addition to this move by the Pakistani government, there is still no loan plan between Islamabad and IMF.

Opposition party Tehreek-e-Insaf blamed the current economic situation of the country and some of its leaders are talking about the country's bankruptcy.

But under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the current government officials of Pakistan call the former ruling party Tehreek-e-Insaf responsible for the deteriorating economy of the country.

Along with this, Pakistan's finance minister Ishaq Dar says that the country's bankruptcy is wrong and the foreign money reserves in the government bank are increasing.

Political and economic crisis in Pakistan escalated after Prime Minister Imran Khan was ousted from power through a no-confidence motion in the National Assembly on 12th April 2018.

The opposition parties led by the Muslim League 👎 had blamed Imran Khan for leading the country towards destruction that is why they destroyed the government.

However, Imran Khan led Tehreek-e-Insaf has continued to protest in the country since then for the sake of early general elections.
