🤦‍♀️Yes- the numbers (likes/comments) is something we ALL tend to focus on- but guess what? People don’t tend to “like” the majority of posts they see nowadays.

✔️ It’s ALL about brand awareness. It’s common now to just scroll & scroll… without double-tapping the little heart. ❤️

🤷‍♀️How's your engagement rate on Instagram?

We've all been there: You spend hours crafting the perfect caption and writing the most thoughtful, insightful, and funny content you can think of, then you post it… and wait.🤦‍♀️

And wait.

And wait.

👍Then, finally, you see that little red number appear in your notifications—someone saw your post! Someone liked it! Someone even commented on it!

💡You want to connect with people online—but how do you know if what you're doing is working?

➡️Engagement Rate = (Likes + Comments + Saves) / Reach x 100

✔️Make sure there's something in there that'll pique their curiosity (a question or an interesting fact or statistic.)

✔️Get people talking.

🤗It's a great way to see if your audience is connecting with what you're posting. If they don't, it might be time to change things up a bit. And if they do, then keep going! Your audience is telling you what they want from you, so give it to them.

👯‍♀️ Hey, BFFs- Instagram is rolling out a Close Friends list.

🤔But what does it mean?

🤷‍♀️What are you supposed to do with it?

Well, we're here to help!

1️⃣The first thing you need to do is create a Close Friends list. If you have more than one friend who you want to share your stories with, make sure you add them all under the same group so they don't get confused.

2️⃣Once your list is complete, go ahead and share an Instagram Story with them. When they see it, they'll see a green label attached to it — indicating it's for your Close Friends only.

🎥 Start simple. Spend 30 minutes every few days on TikTok & Instagram looking at what OTHERS in your niche have created in Reels.

🎥 Take notes. Most likely those Reels are "trending" - which pushes them to the front of the line. Use those notes as your foundation for future videos and see the results!
